• Bilton Parish Council planning services

The Parish Council is notified of all planning applications by East Riding of Yorkshire Council (EYRC) and Council arranges for at least 2 Councillors to visit the property to ascertain if there are any issues which would cause the Council to object to an application.  The immediate neighbours are also contacted to see if they are aware of the application, and also advise them how to object to ERYC if they have any problems.  The Council will then reply to ERYC to either approve or reject the application or can make objections to the Council.  However the final decision is also made by the Planning Authority.
